The finished ruby tablecloth on a congress stand, beside Virtumed and supplier pull-up banners

A printed tablecloth for congress stands.

The problem

On a congress stand, the front of the table is often the only branding people see as they walk past.

Pattern

The design had to work at two distances: readable from across a hall, and still interesting to someone standing at the table talking to a rep. The mark is scattered at three sizes and rotated freely, so no row or column lines up. The large shapes carry across the hall, the small ones fill the gaps, and there is no obvious repeat.

Placement

Nothing important sits near the edges. The fold over the table edge and the drop to the floor can fall anywhere in the artwork without cutting a shape badly, which matters because the same cloth goes over tables of different depths.

Colour and print

One ruby ground and one white line, with no tints. Printed by dye sublimation to the edges, so the colour stays strong under hall lighting and survives washing.
